Welcome to Wild Goose restaurant on the shores of beautiful North Lake Tahoe.

“This year at Wild Goose we’ll be focusing more extensively on the concept and style of food referred to as New American cuisine,” says Jason Di Guilio, executive chef, Wild Goose. “In addition, the restaurant will be a place for those to come to relax, have a glass of wine, a simple entrée or a full fine-dining experience.”

Di Guilio’s love of New American cuisine has been cultivated throughout his culinary career. Starting at the young age of 14, he watched his Italian grandmother chop fresh tomatoes and herbs for her homemade spaghetti sauce. This tradition of working with fresh ingredients, lots of herbs and spices and the finest produce is the basis of Di Guilio’s cooking style. The term New American Cuisine  is defined as upscale, contemporary cooking working with flavors from America’s melting pot and utilizing traditional cooking techniques. It features the creative use of fresh in-season produce and sauces and often incorporates influences from Latin America, Mediterranean and Asian cuisine.
