How The Goose Got Its Name

The roaring 20’s brought new excitement to the Lake Tahoe area. Small ski resorts were beginning to be built, creating the winter-time draw, while vacationers paraded around the lake in steamers & double-ender launches such as Wild Goose.

The restaurant, named after the famed Wild Goose Double-Ender Launch, reveals the rich heritage & adventurous spirit of Lake Tahoe in every detail.
